What does it cost to list an event?
Nothing. Listing is free for every event, paid or free, with no subscription and no contract. Paid tickets start at $5.00.
When am I charged?
Only when a ticket sells, and never on free events. Moveera takes 3% + $0.30 per paid ticket, and card processing is charged separately by Stripe at around 1.7% + $0.30. By default your attendee covers both: set a $20.00 ticket and they pay $21.56 while you receive exactly $20.00. Choose to absorb them instead and your attendee pays $20.00 while you receive $18.46. Card processing is always applied at our published Australian rate, so an overseas card never costs you more.
How do I get paid?
Straight to your nominated Australian bank account through Stripe. Your ticket money is held in your Stripe balance while tickets sell and released two business days after the event has finished, so a cancellation or refund before or just after the event never comes out of your bank account. Expect it in your bank about four business days after the event.
What happens if someone gets a refund?
You can refund a booking in full from the app. The booking fee comes back with the ticket price, so the attendee is made whole and our fee is returned too.
