Cookies Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This policy explains the cookies and other browser storage used on our website, moveera.com.au. The site is run by Moveera Pty Ltd ("Moveera", "we", "us", "our").

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website saves in your browser. The site can read it back later, so it remembers things like whether you are signed in.

Websites can also keep information in your browser's storage. It works in a similar way, so this policy covers it too.

Some of the cookies below are set by us. Others are set by services we use, such as Stripe and Meta. Those services decide how their cookies work, under their own policies.

1. Keeping you signed in

These are needed for sign-in. If you block them, you can't sign in or stay signed in on our site.

  • Cookies whose names start with sb- and end in -auth-token. Set by Moveera, using our sign-in provider, Supabase. They hold your sign-in session, so you stay signed in as you move around the site. A large session can be split across more than one cookie, with .0, .1 and so on added to the name. They last up to 400 days, and are removed when you sign out.
  • A cookie ending in -auth-token-code-verifier. Set by Moveera, using Supabase, when you ask to reset your password. It helps the reset link work securely, and is removed once the link is used.

2. Remembering your choices

These are only set once you are signed in and make a choice.

  • mv_region. Set by Moveera when you pick a region to browse in your dashboard. It remembers that region, so you see its events next time. It lasts 1 year.
  • mv_host_account. Set by Moveera when a host switches between their personal account and a community they manage. It remembers which one you were working in. It lasts 1 year.

3. Paying for a ticket

When you pay for a ticket on our site, the payment step loads Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe is not loaded on any other page.

  • __stripe_mid. Set by Stripe. It helps Stripe recognise your browser, to spot and prevent fraud. It lasts 1 year.
  • __stripe_sid. Set by Stripe, for the same reason, for your current visit. It lasts 30 minutes.

4. Measuring how the site is used

  • wt_vid. Set by Moveera when you open a checkout page. It holds a random id and no personal details. We send it with checkout events to PostHog, our analytics service, so we can see how many people reach each step and where they stop. Once you sign in, those events are linked to your account. It lasts 1 year. Checkout works without it.
  • sentryReplaySession (browser storage, not a cookie). Set by Sentry, our error monitoring service, on every page. It holds a random id for your visit. If an error happens, Sentry uses it to put together a recording of what led up to the error, so we can fix it. It is deleted when you close the tab.
  • Vercel Analytics counts visits to our pages. It does not set cookies or store anything in your browser.

5. Advertising

Every page of our site loads the Meta Pixel. It measures how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work.

  • _fbp. Set by Meta on our site. It recognises your browser across visits, so Meta can measure our ads. It lasts about 90 days.
  • _fbc. Set by Meta on our site when you arrive from a link on Facebook or Instagram. It records that click. It lasts about 90 days.

Meta may also use its own cookies, and may link your visit to your Meta account. You can manage the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Blocking these cookies does not stop our site working.

6. Maps and booking forms from Google

Event pages show a Google map of the event's area. Our Book a demo page shows a Google Calendar booking form. Both load from Google inside our page, and Google may set its own cookies when they do. We can't read or control those cookies. Google's own policies cover them.

Controlling and clearing cookies

  • Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data. Look in your browser's settings, usually under Privacy.
  • Deleting our cookies signs you out.
  • If you block the sign-in cookies in section 1, you can't sign in on our site.
  • Blocking the measuring and advertising cookies in sections 4 and 5 does not stop the site working.
  • A private or incognito window deletes its cookies when you close it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove a service. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
